William T. McKelvey, of Haddon Heights, formerly of Lindenwold, passed away on March 29, 2018, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Hans). Devoted father of William T. McKelvey, Jr. and Danielle McKelvey-Teti (Matthew). Loving grandfather of William T., III and Julia Marie McKelvey; and, Samuel and Gemma Teti. Dear brother of Jerry (Shirley) and Thomas (Marge) McKelvey, Virginia (Steve) Stakley and the late Michael McKelvey. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Bill proudly served in the US Navy. He was a carpenter who worked for his family's drywall business, and he worked as an independent contractor and for Union Local 1578. Bill was a generous and friendly person, who loved listening to and singing along with his favorite songs. He was easy to talk to and he enjoyed having long conversations with anyone he met; he had the "Irish Gift of Gab."
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Saturday from 9 to 11 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM, at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Interment is private.
