Thomas J. McLaughlin of Barrington for 61 years, passed away on Sept. 8, 2016, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Jane (nee Bradley) for 61 years. Devoted father of Kathleen (Michael) McDonald, Judith (Michael) Bronston and Thomas (Dawn) McLaughlin. Loving grandfather of Timothy, David, Jeffrey, Andrew, Ashley, Catherine and Jonathan. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren, his sister, Rosemary (Frank) Sherle, his brother Francis (Sandra) McLaughlin, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Joseph McLaughlin and his sister Catherine Bonsal.
Tom graduated from Camden Catholic HS in 1951. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Tom worked in the insurance industry for 46 years, the last 25, at PMA Group and he was a long time member of the Insurance Society of Philadelphia. Tom was an active and dedicated member of the former St. Francis de Sales Church, where he was a founding member of the St. Vincent De Paul Society, a Trustee, a Eucharistic Minister and a collection counter for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing, Tuesday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 27 Kresson-Gibbsboro Rd., Gibbsboro, followed by his Funeral Mass at 12 Noon. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery.
