Theresa Mecca Santosusso, 77, of Haddon Heights NJ, passed away on October 31, 2022. After a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, Theresa is now at peace. Theresa was born and raised in Philadelphia by her parents Daniel and Martha Mecca. Theresa was predeceased by her husband, John Santosusso and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jane and Alex McClain. She left behind a sister, Margaret (Peggy) Mecca and two nieces and a nephew; Carolyn Figueroa, Kathleen Over, married to Mike, and Kevin McClain, married to Dawn. She left behind John's daughters, Melissa Shattuck, married to Lee and Jennifer Gale, married to Max. Theresa was Grandmother to Gavin Shattuck and Aidan and Miles Gale and Godmother to Christine Santosusso, daughter of Ed and Kelly.

Theresa was a hair stylist by profession, and she loved her work. Her most loyal customers followed her from Philly to South Jersey and became lifelong friends. Theresa loved doing hair in the shop in her home. She loved fashion and shopping and was always stylish. She loved cooking Italian for John and telling stories about their travels abroad to Italy. Her home was filled with Italian relics and antiques. Theresa was devoted to her gym work outs and in later years, she became a certified personal trainer.   Theresa adored her dog Charlie; she was inseparable from him for a time; she enjoyed taking him on neighborhood walks around the lake. Theresa's "Club Girls" were like sisters. She will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Saturday, November 5, 2022, from 9 to 11 AM, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Interment Harleigh Cemetery.
