Salvatore F. Leonardo, Jr. of Turnersville, formerly of Vineland and Philadelphia, passed away on August 12, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved husband of Helen E. (nee Raspa). Devoted father of Donna Leonardo, D.O. (Pete Cunningham), Louise Fourney and the late Salvatore Leonardo, III (Maryellen). Loving grandfather of Stephanie Fourney, Francesca Fourney (Fiancé David), Francis Fourney, Timothy Leonardo, Joseph Cunningham and Michael Leonardo. Dear brother of the late Mildred Ruggeri, Josephine DiGuiseppe and Joseph Leonardo. Brother-in-law of Louis Raspa (Connie) and Joseph Raspa (Jeanne). He is also survived by his former son-in-law, Frank Fourney and many nieces and nephews.

Salvatore proudly served in the US Coast Guard, during the Korean Conflict. He was a dedicated employee of General Electric, for over 35 years. Salvatore was inducted into the Southeast Catholic High School Varsity Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his athletic achievement as a guard on the varsity football team and his dedication to the sports program at the school. Salvatore was devoted to his family. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 10 to 11:30 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 176 Stagecoach Road, Sicklerville. After Mass, entombment of his urn will take place at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 240 N. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown.
