Robert Joseph Welden, of Magnolia, formerly of Collingswood, passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 61.

Well my journey has concluded. To quote Calvin & Hobbs " It's not the pace of life I mind. It's the sudden stop at the end."

Bob was the youngest son of the late Robert E. and Dolores Welden (nee Butchko). He was predeceased by his sister, Joyce and is survived by his brother, Stephen E.; sister, Karen L; nephew, Steven E. Jr. (Ashley) and niece, Rosemary Ayala. He will be missed by his great nephews Gavin and Felipe and great niece Nellie.

Bob was fortunate to have an amazing group of friends. Some from Zane North Elementary School were still part of his life. Overall these wonderful people contributed to his life and added to his development. He hoped the same could be said of him.

Late in his life he met someone who added so much joy and laughter, as well as so many adventures. Emily opened up so many doors and gave his remaining time so much happiness and love. Bob will miss that mischievous smile. She will have his heart until the end of time.

History was Bob's passion and his home was filled with many books on a variety of topics. He loved going on battlefield hikes at Gettysburg/Fredericksburg/Antietam. He believed everyone had one location, one place, which you could connect too spiritually. His location was Little Round Top at Gettysburg.

Bob wants to thank all those who were part of his life and appreciates the fun, the laughter, the love and the friendship they provided.
