Robert Herrmann, 77, of Burlington Township, New Jersey, passed away on May 26, 2023.

Robert was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on December 31, 1945 to Rudolf and Louise Herrmann. He grew up in Bogota, NJ with his twin sister Elise, and moved to South Canaan, PA when he was 12. At Lake Ariel High School, he enjoyed playing baseball. After high school, Robert enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. After the military, he met and married his wife Ellen, and had a daughter named Kristin. Robert had a very successful career as a pager and phone salesman for Bell Atlantic. He loved traveling with his family, playing golf, reading historical books, and cheering on the New York Giants. Robert was a wonderful father and husband who wholeheartedly loved his family.

Robert was a loving husband to Ellen, father to Kristin, father-in-law to Phillip, and adoring grandfather of Sean and Gavin. He was preceded in his passing by his parents, Rudolf and Louise Herrmann, his in-laws Frederick and Helen Kreitz, and brother-in-law Frederick.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, 260 High Street, Mt. Holly, NJ. A visitation will be held at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Robert will be laid to rest at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ, immediately following Mass.
