Nardi, Rita G. (nee Geoghegan)
On November 5, our mom, Rita passed quietly from this life surrounded by her family.
Mom enjoyed a full life as the beloved wife of the late Hon. Joseph M. Nardi Jr.; loving mother of Rosanna Innes (Paul), Joseph III (Mary Ellen), Raymond "Doc", Rita (predeceased), Robert (Kitty), Julia Rineman (Mark) and John (Amy); cherished grandmother of PJ McKeaney, Kate McKeaney DiMedio, Alyssa Mullen, Elizabeth, Meredith McKeaney Mohan, Joey, Sam, Isabel, Harry and John Rineman and the late Megan McKeaney; joyful great-grandmother of Allie and Stella DiMedio; dear sister of the late Mary Curry and the late Helen Heisler.
During a busy, vibrant life, Mom gave her all in many roles as wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and faithful friend to many. Mom was an accomplished athlete in her early years and an active volunteer later in life.
Over the past 5 years, Mom was assisted daily with care and kindness by UMH-Collingswood staff and companion aides from Comfort Keepers. We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all who helped us care for Mom during this time with special thanks to Dolly and Kelly. You ensured Mom's dignity and grace.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 8, from 4 to 8pm at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights NJ. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 9 at 10:30am at St. Teresa of Calcutta Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood NJ. Interment will be private.
