Rita Marie Nardi, 57, of Audubon, passed suddenly on Sunday, October 29, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Rita is survived by her mother, Rita G. Nardi, her three children, Philip McKeaney III (Victor Diaz), Katherine DiMedio (Robert III), Meredith Mohan (Kyle); her granddaughters whom she adored, Allie and Stella DiMedio; her siblings, Rosanna Innes (Paul), Joseph III (MaryEllen), Raymond "Doc", Robert (Kitty), Julia Rineman (Mark), and John (Amy); her nieces and nephews whom she thought the world of, her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and an amazing group of friends. Rita's father, Hon. Joseph M. Nardi, Jr, her daughter Meghan Ann McKeaney and her grandparents met Rita at the gates of heaven.
Rita was devoted to her family, friends and work but what brought Rita the most joy was being a devoted mom, a loving aunt, and the wonderful "Grandmom Rit." Rita prided herself on being a person for others, and that is exactly how she lived every day. Rita faced many challenges, fought many illnesses, and all who love and miss her are comforted knowing that she no longer has to fight. Her family would like to thank the compassionate clinicians of the Cooper University Medical Center's trauma team, who cared for Rita and her family during her final hours.
All are invited to a public viewing on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, November 2, 2017, 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Church of St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 809 Park Avenue, Collingswood NJ 08108. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
