Raphaela I. Battaglino "Rae" (nee Iacono) of Cherry Hill, passed away on February 22, 2022, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Devoted mother of Paula Battaglino and the late Andrew Battaglino and Josephine Swiderski. Loving grandmother of April Battaglino, Lynne Battaglino and the late Scott Swiderski and Charles Swiderski. Dear sister of the late Leonard, Michael, Salvatore, Camile, Anna and Henry. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Battaglino, sister-in-law, Elisabeth Iacono and by numerous, loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Jaworski Battaglino.

Rae was a native New Yorker, who moved to South Jersey in the 1960s. She was an active member of Circolo Italiano of Southern New Jersey. Rae was a volunteer at St. Mary's Catholic Home, where she ran their activities, including all of their Bingo games. She was on the Senior Advisory Board of Cherry Hill Township. Rae enjoyed being involved in her community and her volunteer work; but, her greatest joy came from being a devoted mother and wife. Her angelic personality made her loved by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Saturday February 26, 2022, from 11 AM to 12 PM, at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Entombment in Calvary Cemetery will be private.
