Obituary

Pia Marianne Troutman (nee Badt), 98, passed into the arms of the Lord on April 3, 2021 , surrounded by her loving family. A long-time resident of Haddon Heights, NJ, Pia was born in Berlin , Germany in 1922 . Pia emigrated to the US in 1939.

Pia is survived by her husband of 74 ye a rs, Bill, and her children Carol (Joe) Cybulski, Jacqueline (Marvin) Raile and Lee (Anna Marie) Troutman . She is also survived by grandchildren Aubrey (Eric) Olson , Ben jamin Raile , Jessica (Nathan) Greer , Will (Casey) Troutman and Shannon Troutman and great-grandchildren Evan , Julia, Graeme, Rhys, Liam , Madelain e and treasured friend Betts Phillips.

Pia graduated from Chestnut Hill College and worked for the US Navy as a translator. After raising her family, she became a language teacher at Haddon Heights High School.

Pia was actively involved in 4-H, Girl Scouts, Women's Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Camden County Retired Educators, Interfaith Caregivers and St. Rose of Lima Parish . Her hobbies and interests included fishing, gardening, knitting, camping , travelling and most importantly, her family.

Pia would want everyone who cared for her , sent cards and prayed for her to know how much she appreciated your acts of kindness.

Visitation , with family, at Terranova Funeral Home, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ, on Thursday, April 8 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Mass in celebration of Pia 's life will be on Friday, April 9, at 11 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, please donate, in Pia's name, to a charity of your choice.
