Nicholas J. LaSanta passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 88. Husband to Doris (nee Wyatt) for 57 years. Father to Maria Hildebrand (Bob) of Pitman, Nicholas Jr. (Janet) of North Wales, Pa, and Michael of Runnemede. Loving grandfather of Melissa Hildebrand, Jennifer Hildebrand, Amanda, Nicholas III, and Julianne LaSanta.

Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Nicholas proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army. After his military service, Nicholas married Doris. They raised their three children in Runnemede.

Nicholas served as an usher at St. Maria Goretti Church for more than 50 years. He was a 4th Degree Life Member of The Knights of Columbus Holy Family Council #7800 and Bishop Eustace General Assembly. He was also a dedicated member of The Order of the Alhambra.

Nicholas enjoyed traveling, especially his trips to Hawaii, Las Vegas, and his annual trips to Florida. He was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening.

Nicholas will be buried with full military honors at The Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, N.J. Funeral Services will be private.
