Natalina Vecchio "Nelly" (nee Screnci) passed away on September 1, 2021, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Carmen "Carl" Vecchio and companion of Frank Spera. Devoted mother of Carl (Diana) Vecchio and Maryann Vecchio (Kurt Mueller). Dear sister of the late Concetta (James) Marotta (Andrew Crivaro), Mary (Frank) Valella and Nicholas (Dolores) Screnci. Loving grandmother of Theresa (Joseph) Lee, Kristen Vecchio (Blaze Boettcher), Stephen Vecchio and Frank (Karen) Spera. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Nelly was a graduate of Bok High School where she learned to be a seamstress, a career she worked in for many years. She shared her skills with family and friends by helping them with their sewing needs. In addition she enjoyed crocheting, especially Afghans which she shared with those in her life. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Carl and later her companion, Frank. However, Nelly's greatest focus was her devotion to family and friends. She will be remembered for her kind, caring nature, particularly in her role as caregiver. Nelly was devoted to her children and enjoyed spending time with them. Her greatest joy, however, was being able to be part of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's lives.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, September 8, 2021, from 9 to 10 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM, at St. Monica Church, 17 ^th and Ritner Streets, Philadelphia. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
