Mary Louise Scotti, 69 of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2024. Daughter of the late Luigi and Phyllis (nee Trophe) Scotti, brother Anthony Scotti and brother-in-law Peter Koway. Mary is remembered by her beloved sister, Theresa Koway; sister-in-law Mary V. (nee Nelson) Scotti, nephew, David (Megan) Scotti and daughter Grace; Godchildren, John Grimes, Daniel Grimes, and Morgan Grimes; life-long friends, Debbie Finn and Dottie Grimes; along with numerous loving relatives and special friends.

Mary loved her family and friends deeply. She was kind, caring and had a unique sense of humor that always put a smile on our faces. Mary poured all of her wonderful qualities into a 31-year nursing career as a registered nurse at Jefferson Methodist Hospital in Philadelphia. Mary was devoted to caring for her patients and the community. Mary was a life-long parishioner of St. Rita of Cascia Church in Philadelphia and friend of St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Mary had a deep love for God and a special devotion to praying the rosary. Left with many memories, we have each other, the love and support of family and friends, the cherished most important part of life.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Thursday, September 26th, from 9:00AM to 10:00AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM at St. Rita of Cascia Church, 1166 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19146. Interment directly following the Mass will be held at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
