Mary C.
Murray
Feb 9, 1936 — Jun 9, 2022
Mary C. Murray (nee Pifani) of Clementon, went home to be with her Lord after a brief illness, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Devoted mother of Charles (Eva), Patricia Murray (Jenn), Catherine Conforti (Thomas) and the late Deborah Murray. Loving grandmother of Jenna Kasznel (Matthew). Loving great grandmother of Jordan Joy Kasznel. Dear sister of Eugene Pifani (late Margaret) and the late Joseph Pifani. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
Mary worked as a bank teller after she lost her husband in 1985, she then earned her insurance agents license and joined a friend's insurance agency. She worked as an insurance agent and an administrator for the Academy School of Insurance until her retirement.
Mary was a kind and generous woman, devoted to the Lord and was famous for making the best meatballs in the family and often shared with neighbors who loved her cooking. She was surrounded by good neighbors for many years including Sis, Bill (late Lloyd), Becky and the deceased Annie B. She was supportive not only to her friends, but always first to her family. She was the type of Mother that you could always call, and she would listen to your troubles and provide what support she could including praying for all who needed it. She will be greatly missed by her children and by all that loved her. But we are comforted by the fact that we know she is home with her Lord and joins those friends and family who have gone before her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation, Thursday June 16, 2022, from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 AM at Our Lady of Hope Parish (St. Agnes Church), 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012. Interment will follow Mass at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org .
