Mark E. Cowin, a long-time resident of Atco, NJ, and current resident of Frederica, Delaware, passed away December 4, 2023 at the age of 61. Mark passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and close friends. Mark is survived by four brothers, sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and his two dogs Shelby and Gio - the light of his life.

Mark enjoyed a long and successful professional career. Most recently for the last 17 years, he served as the Vice President of Real Estate and Travel at Magellan Health. He was privileged to lead a talented, hard-working, team through many changes over many years. Considered by his colleagues as one of the kindest people they'd ever met, Mark was a consummate, results-oriented executive, a highly coveted addition to any special project (or pickup basketball team), and endlessly compassionate, among many other accolades. He was truly one of a kind in the best possible way. Magellan is a better company because of Mark's imprint, and his presence will be deeply, deeply missed.

As an avid cyclist, Mark not only traveled the U.S. competing, but also traveled to Belgium and France making memories and friends of a lifetime. To fulfill his passion for adventure, Mark traveled the US in his motorhome with his family. Mark also loved perusing the internet for antique cars. His love of cars led to quite a collection, which he enjoyed working on, driving, and showing off. He also had a love of good cuisine, including peanut butter and whipped cream, which he shared lovingly with Shelby and Gio. Whenever someone was in need, Mark was there without question, providing love and support. Mark's family and friends were there for him until the end, showing their love and support for their amazing friend.
