Mario A. Evangelista passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Jeannette (nee Alaimo). Loving father of Michael. Devoted brother of Adolph, Anthony, Nick Evangelista and the late Maryann Talley.

Mario was a Vietnam War Veteran. He worked for the US Post Office for many years, retiring as a Postal Supervisor. Mario enjoyed model railroads. He attended many model railroad conventions and meets, throughout the years.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 9 to 10 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Stella Maris Church, 10 ^th and Bigler Streets, Philadelphia. Interment is private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.
