Obituary

Lynn D. Lorman (nee Miller and Craig), age 78, of Clarksboro, NJ, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, friend, and wife, passed away on January 7, 2026. She was the heart of her family and a steady source of warmth, quiet strength and unconditional love to all who knew her.

She lived a life rooted in kindness, resilience and quiet grace. Her presence made people feel safe, seen and deeply loved. To her family, she was a guiding light, a confidant and a constant source of comfort. Her love shaped generations and will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.

Lynn is survived by her three daughters, Candace Jane Craig, Cheryl Joyce Craig, and Carla Joy Bolling, her loving sister, Lorraine Hummel, and her husband, Charles R. Lorman.  She was the adoring grandmother to Emily Zadroga-Murtha and Sara Zadroga (Candace), Patrick, Connor and Finnegan Pope (Cheryl), and Jared, Jack and Joshua Bolling (Carla).  Lynn cherished her only great-granddaughter, Paisley Cross. She also had many treasured nieces and nephews, as well as loved ones whom she graciously "adopted" into her family.  Her adoring and loving family will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, John F. and Olive M. Miller, her sister Lois D. Reader and her brother-in-law, Frank Hummel, all whom she loved dearly and is now reunited with them.

After many years as a dedicated stay at home mom to her girls, Lynn returned to school to pursue her nursing degree.  After obtaining an Associate in Science degree from Camden County College and her Nursing Diploma from Helene Fuld School of Nursing in 1984, Lynn worked as an empathetic and dedicated neonatal nurse at West Jersey Hospital in Voorhees and Newcomb Medical Center in Vineland.  In 1988, Lynn achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree and her School Nursing certificate from Glassboro State College.   Lynn retired as a School Nurse in 2014 from the Winslow Township School District after 25 years of providing a safe and trusted environment for her students to feel better physically and emotionally.

Lynn will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her sage wisdom, her witty sense of humor and her extraordinary way of making everyone around her feel uniquely special and fully supported. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will endure.
