Laura Jin Fitzgerald, 37, of Barrington, NJ formerly of Haddon Heights, died suddenly of natural causes July 23, 2015.
Born January 15, 1978 in Taegu, South Korea, she was adopted at age 2 1/2. She is survived by her mother, Rosemary Fitzgerald and her stepfather, Daniel Thoren of Haddon Heights. She is also survived by her brother Edward (Pamela) Fitzgerald, sister Susan Fitzgerald, brother Kerr Fitzgerald (and Lynzee Anderson). Beloved aunt to Emily, Timothy, and Bryn Rose Fitzgerald, all of Haddon Heights. She was predeceased by her father, Edward Fitzgerald. Laura is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in the extended Callahan, Gabbo/Racco, and Thoren families.
Laura was a graduate of Paul VI High School and the University of South Florida. She worked as a legal assistant at various law firms in the area. She was a beautiful woman who was an avid reader, known for her personal style, quick wit, fierce determination, and independence. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
Friends may call Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Terranova Funeral Home, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd. Haddon Township, NJ.
