KathrynRae Ippolito (nee Humphrey) passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 74. Devoted daughter of the late Edward and Katherine Humphrey. Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Ippolito. Loving mother of Edward Ippolito (Jennifer) and Monica Ippolito-Campagno (Craig). Adoring grandmother of Julian, Santino, Seumas, Gabriella and Evangeline. Dear sister of the late Diane Rutledge.

Kathy was born in Youngstown, OH and moved to South Philadelphia during childhood. She held many jobs, most recently as a secretary at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital. The perfect job for an avid animal lover. Kathy was known to shop on QVC.

She was a devout Catholic, who requested that her funeral be held at St. Nick's, which was her parish for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 9 to 10 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM, at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins Streets, Philadelphia. Entombment is in Calvary Cemetery.
