Kathleen "Kass" Patton, Blackwood, formerly of Barrington NJ, passed peacefully on October 30, 2025 at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband, William J. Patton, Jr. Devoted mother of Kathleen, Peg, William (Renee), Francis (Wendy), and Michael.  Proud Mom-Mom of Molly, Monica, Liam and Ellen. Beloved daughter of the late Hugh J. Shields and Katherine (nee McKeever). Dear sister of Msgr. Hugh J. Shields, Maryanne Flanagan (James), and the late Charles T. Shields (Nancy). Loved by her nieces and nephews, high-school sorority sisters, and countless friends.

Kass was born in Philadelphia and graduated from West Catholic Girls High School. She met and married her soulmate Bill; she raised her children in a loving, supporting, and understanding home, and adored her grandchildren immensely. A gracious host to various holiday and birthday gatherings, her door was always open. We were blessed to share God's angel on this earth, through many precious memories too numerous to list.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Friday, November 7th from 8am to 10am at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Ave and Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights. Interment in New St. Mary's Cemetery.
