Josephine Maria Stout (nee Cowan) of Dover NJ, passed away quietly on August 28, 2017 at the age of 77. Beloved mother of Linda Green of Jamesville, VA, Donna Walker of Rockaway, NJ, Charles Cowan (Wendy) of Haddonfield, NJ, Steven Cowan (Judy) of Ewing Township, NJ, and Ronald Cowan (Ana) of Killeen, TX. Proud grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Solomon Robinson III of West Hampton, NJ and a sister Elsie Robinson of Pennsauken, NJ.

Josephine was a retired homemaker who lovingly raised five children. She was a long-time member of St. Bartholomew's church in Camden NJ. Josephine worked at the University of Pennsylvania hospital for several years before moving to Jamesville VA., where she lived with her loving companion William T. Roberts until his death. After retirement Josephine moved back to NJ to be near her family, relax and enjoy her favorite pastime reading novels. She was deeply loved and will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation, Friday from 1 to 2 PM, followed by her Funeral Service at 2 PM, at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ. Interment is private.
