Joseph M.
Gorman
Jan 30, 1956 — Sep 23, 2025
Joseph Michael Gorman of Voorhees NJ, formerly of Burnet TX, and Audubon NJ went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2025, at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of the late Becky. Loving son of the late Mae and Joseph Gorman. He is survived by his sisters Mary Lawrence (Steve) and Martha Dickson and his brother John. Also a nephew Hunter and niece Skylar.
Even though he had a difficult life, he never lost his kind and generous spirit, always willing to help others. He also kept his sense of humor. He loved animals and always had pets including dogs, cats, a bird, horses and a donkey. He was an avid reader. He was very active in his church and was a Trustee and later a Deacon while attending Bellmawr Baptist Church.
When he was young, he got interested in the Barrington Ambulance and they made him their mascot until he was old enough to become an EMT and volunteer. After 9/11, he would travel to New York City on his days off to help in any way he could, including counseling and praying with people affected by that tragedy.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing, Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9 to 11 AM, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue at DVGRR, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, PA 17569 or Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
