Gloria M. Keenan (nee Gil), formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on August 28, 2015, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late James. Devoted mother of Kathleen Fastiggi, Marlene Keenan, John Keenan and the late James Keenan. Dear sister of Ida Keenan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Gloria worked as a sales associate for Gimbel's, then for Macy's, for many years. She loved to cook and read; she was fashion forward; she had a unique sense of style and enjoyed all genres of music. Gloria was family oriented, extremely generous and compassionate; and, had a great and witty sense of humor. She was blessed to have enjoyed many years of retirement with her husband. They went on a cruise, traveled, went to the shore and the mountains; and, enjoyed spending time with family with friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Saturday September 5, 2015 from 8:30 A.M. to 10 A.M. followed by her Funeral Service at 10 A.M. at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to any organization devoted to research, to find a cure for either Alzheimers or breast cancer.
