Obituary

Geoffrey P. Trinkner of Williamstown, passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 73. Beloved husband of the late Maryann (nee D'Ambrosio). Devoted father of Geoffrey, Jr. (Candace). Dear brother of Bradley Trinkner (Nancy) and the late Joan Marie Trinkner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Geoff dedicated much of his career to working as an HVAC technician and mechanic. Known for his honesty and diligence, he took pride in his craft and was respected by colleagues and clients alike. After retiring from his primary career, Geoff continued to stay active by working as an auto parts driver for a local car dealership. Geoff's hands-on approach to life extended beyond his career; there was no task too challenging for him to tackle with determination and precision.

A devout Catholic, Geoff was a faithful member of Our Lady of Peace Parish in Williamstown. He attended Mass regularly and found solace and strength in his faith throughout his life. His strong moral compass guided him throughout his life as he exemplified integrity, honesty, generosity, and compassion in all that he did.

Geoff had a wide range of interests that brought him joy and connected him with others. He was always eager to learn something new and share what he knew with others and especially enjoyed finding funny clips on YouTube to share with family and friends, spreading laughter wherever he could.

He had a deep appreciation for cars and classic rock music and could often be found discussing engines, admiring classic vehicles, or just reminiscing about the many concerts and performances he had attended over the years.   A true foodie at heart, he always appreciated good meals shared with loved ones and was an avid explorer of new flavors and cuisines. He was a proud Trekkie through and throughout, and he embraced the world of science fiction with enthusiasm. His keen interest in politics reflected his resounding pride as a member of the Republican Party.

Above all else, Geoff cherished his beloved wife Maryann and his loving son Geoffrey Paul, his family was truly at the heart of Geoff's world. Geoff's loyal canine companion Mitzi also held a very dear and special place in his heart.

Those who knew Geoff will remember him as a loving family man, a loyal friend, a good neighbor, a hard worker, and someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

Geoff's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His humor, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to those around him leave behind a legacy that will never be forgotten ❤.
