Dr. Edwin Arnt Jensen, 80, of Cherry Hill, NJ went on to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2024, due to heart complications.  He was the son of the late Arnt Berg Jensen and Elsie Jensen.  He was born at Cape May Court House, NJ on October 14, 1943.  He was proud of his Norwegian/Finnish heritage.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Gail Jensen, of 55 years and three children, Kristen Delin and her husband Brian, son Andrew Jensen and his wife Aaron, and son Martin Jensen and his wife Dora.  He leaves his five grandchildren, Caroline, Anna, David, Hannah, and Abigail.

He is also survived by his brother Arne of Cape May, NJ where together they owned a commercial scallop fishing boat named "The Courageous."

Edwin was a graduate of Cape May Regional High School, Upsala College, and received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1970.

He was a long time member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Cherry Hill, NJ where he served on the church council.

Dr. Edwin Jensen devoted his medical career to passionately serving the community of Camden, NJ with a Family Medical Practice.  After retiring from Camden he worked for several years as a staff physician at the Woodbine Developmental Center.

After retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  He enjoyed yearly vacations at Long Beach Island, NJ with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will be remembered and forever loved as a caring, generous, selfless, and kind man who never stopped going out of his way to be a blessing to everyone he encountered.  His laughter was contagious and can still be heard.  What a heritage his life produced to everyone who knew and loved him, especially as a husband, father, pop-pop, and friend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, in Cherry Hill, NJ ( stmichaelslutheranchurch.org ) or Narrow Way Ministries in Jacksonville, Florida ( nwmin.org ).

A funeral will be held Saturday, July 13th, 2024 at Terranova Funeral Home, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035.  A visitation will be held from 10 am till noon, followed immediately by a service.  The burial will be private.
