Dorothy J. Grant (nee Jahn) of Medford, formerly of Haddon Heights, passed away on Jan. 19, 2017, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of Robert R. Grant, Jr. Devoted mother of Robert R. Grant, III (Rosanne and the late Susan) of Haddonfield and Faith M. Grant of Somerdale. Loving grandmother of Robert J. Grant of Woodlawn. VA. Dear sister of Louis A. Jahn (JoceLyne) of FL and the late Frederick Jahn. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was a dedicated member and Past President of the Haddon Heights Woman's Club and Past President of the Village Playbox. She was the first female Councilwoman on the Haddon Heights Borough Council and she was a longtime employee of Haddon Savings and Loan. Dorothy loved sewing, collecting dolls, reading, the theater and she loved traveling and dancing with her husband of 66 years. Dorothy will be remembered as a vibrant, intelligent and creative woman.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Tues. from 7 to 9 PM and Wed. from 9 to 10 AM at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Her Funeral Service will be Wed. 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
