Charles Moore of South Philadelphia, passed away on February 28, 2020, at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Doyle). Devoted father of Charles, Jr. and Christina. Loving grandfather of Charles Xavier and Ryan Russel. Dear brother of Thomas Moore (Connie) and life-long friend of Tom Peterson (Phyllis). He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Charlie served in the US Army from 1969 to 1972. He was a rigger (shop 72) at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, for many years. Charlie was one of the "original Doyle outlaws." He loved his dog Logan, was a big fan of John Wayne and Elvis and was proud of his Army service to his country. Charlie will be dearly missed by his large family and his many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Sunday, March 8, 2020, from 11 AM to 12 PM, followed by his Memorial Service at 12 PM at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, NW Corner of Broad and Wharton Streets, Philadelphia. Interment is private.
