BARBERA
Biagio "Barry" , formerly of Haddon Heights, age 86, peacefully left this Earth on March 5, 2011. A former machinist, he served honorably in the USMC in World War II. Once retired, after caring for his ill wife for many years, he became a long term volunteer at Manor Care Nursing Home in Cherry Hill, doing whatever he could to help the residents. In dedication to his Catholic faith, he also opened the chapel at St. Rose of Lima Church in Haddon Heights, every day for twenty years. He is survived by loving sons Frank (Jane), Michael (Linda), Eric (Nicolette), Marc (Kim) and daughter Lorraine (John Bender). He leaves behind eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Mark, Sean, Nicholas, Kyle, Lauren and Michael and one greatgrandchild Aiden. He was a man with the kindest heart who cared greatly for the poor and less fortunate.

Friends and family are invited to his visitation on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am at TERRANOVA FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 402 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights. Followed by his Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 4th Avenue & Kings Hwy, Haddon Heights. Following Mass, Interment, with Military Honors Service, Calvary Cemetery , Rt. 70, Cherry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Camden Food Bank, along with prayers and acts of kindness in his memory.
