Betty R. Edwards (nee Gallagher), of Barrington, passed away on Sept. 23, 2014, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late George Washington Edwards, Jr. Devoted mother of Marie P. Edwards, George W. Edwards, III (Helen), Scott W. Edwards (Barbara), Susan L. Passeri (Alan), Jeffery S. Edwards (Adrienne) and the late Steven W. Edwards. Dear sister of Leslie Gallagher (Veronica), Robert Gallagher (Margaret), Arlene Killmer (Ronald) and the late George and Raymond Gallagher. Betty is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Samantha Passeri.
Betty was dedicated to raising her 6 children and was the strength behind her loving husband, always supporting every endeavor with Bumper "T" Caring Clowns. She loved vacationing at the shore and most importantly loved her family and being an intrical part of all of their lives.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at Ascension Lutheran Church, 534 Fourth Avenue, Haddon Heights, followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM. Interment is private.
