Obituary

Anthony J. Schiavo passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Lorraine Schiavo (nee Zook). Devoted father of Mary Anne Pantalone (Frank) and Anthony Schiavo, Jr. "Joe." Loving grandfather of Sabrina Phillips (Collin), Nicholas Schiavo, Joseph Schiavo (Chastity), Gianna Pantalone, Sophia Pantalone and Frank Pantalone "Punk." Loving great grandfather of Rosalie Phillips, Zara Phillips, Jackson Schiavo and Nash Schiavo.  He is also survived by his former daughter-in-law, Christine Schiavo, his adopted son, David Behrens and many nieces and nephews.

Anthony Joseph Schiavo, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished friend, passed away leaving behind a legacy of hard work, love, and unforgettable memories. Anthony lived a full life centered around the things he loved most—his family, his faithfulness to those he cared for, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

Anthony spent most of his life as a dedicated truck driver, working tirelessly for many different companies throughout the years, most notably Action Concrete. He was known for his strong work ethic, resilience, and commitment to providing for his family.

Beyond his work, Anthony truly embraced life. He loved spending time with his family, treasured his visits to the gym, and enjoyed relaxing at the Twin Cigar Shop in South Philadelphia, where he could share laughs and stories. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his beloved wife, Lorraine—walking the beach, dancing together, and creating a lifetime of cherished memories side by side.

Anthony will be remembered for his strength, his love for family, his passion for life, and his ability to find joy in everyday moments. He leaves behind his loving wife, Lorraine, his family, and all who knew him and loved him deeply.

Though he may be gone from this world, his love will live on in the hearts of those he touched forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
