Anne Marie (DeVenuto) Grey, of Narberth and Philadelphia, passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 99. Daughter of John and Anna DeVenuto; and older sister to Sr Rita Mary RSM (dec) and Joan Dolores McLaughlin (dec).

Beloved wife of James J Grey (dec), Aunt of Ritanne (Lawrence Stier),  John (Cathy), Thomas Jr (dec) McLaughlin, Mary, Patty (Frank Edwardi), Liz, Jim (Nancy) , and Tommy (Kathy) Grey,  great Aunt to Sean (Samantha) McLaughlin.

A graduate of Mercy Academy and Chestnut Hill College. Anne went on to be an educator in the Philadelphia School District, and world traveler.  She and her U.S. Foreign Service Officer husband lived together in Bonn, West Germany and Moscow, USSR. Later they ran a travel agency from Walnut Street in Philadelphia, and Anne escorted many groups of H.S. students on their first trips to Europe.

After retirement, her love of Arts took center stage.  Ann was a Docent at the Barnes Foundation, season ticket holder at the Philadelphia Orchestra, and an avid opera lover.  She generously shared her love of art and culture with everyone in her life. Many experienced their first classical concert or visit to an art museum, followed by an elegant lunch with this amazing, loving, gracious woman. She remained vibrant and active into her late 90's and we are all better for having known her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation, Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 12 PM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 12 PM at St. Margaret Church, 208 N. Narberth Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072. Interment following Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
