On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, Agnes Halliday peacefully passed away at the age of 97.

Agnes was born on November 20, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William and Agnes (Blair) Halliday who had emigrated from Glasgow, Scotland. Agnes had four older brothers, William Halliday, George Halliday, Thomas B. Halliday and James B. Halliday, who predeceased her. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Agnes moved with her family to Clementon, New Jersey as a young child and had many fond memories of her times at Clementon Lake. Agnes was employed by the Whitman Chocolate Company until her retirement. She would speak fondly of her time there. Her eyes would light up when she received a Whitman's assorted sampler box as a gift.

Agnes was a beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful and kind woman. She was very patriotic as she loved the United States of America. She enjoyed nature, music and was a passionate animal lover. She adopted a special cat named Sammy whom she adored. She was a joy to be around and was full of wonderful stories of her experiences during her nine and a half decades. She had a beautiful smile with a twinkle in her eyes, loved to laugh and listen to the music of The Rat Pack. She loved fashion and was always well put together. She especially loved her hats.

She spent her last few years at the Masonic Home in Burlington, New Jersey where she was well cared for and made many good friends. Knowing her was a privilege and she will be missed.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd, at 1:30 PM at Erial Community Church Cemetery, 931 Jarvis Road, Sicklerville, NJ 08081.
